SEAPEX Leadership Conference – 2006

The Indonesian Student Chapter of AAPG organized a Leadership Conference in Depok (south of Jakarta) on 15-17 September 2006. The conference was sponsored by SEAPEX (South East Asia Exploration Society), an associate organization of AAPG.
There were 75 students from 12 student chapter in Indonesia attended the meeting. AAPG sponsored 2 students from University of Malaya, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, to participate this conference and to give them an opportunity to see the activities run by the Indonesian students.
AAPG Distinguished Lecturer, Craig Shipp, gave a talk on geohazards in this conference.
