Norm Hyne will be teaching the “Basic Petroleum Geology for Non-Geologists” course one more time in 2007, December 4-6, in Houston. This course is valuable for geotechs, landmen, and company support staff who work with geologists could benefit from a non-technical course that explains the language and processes of petroleum exploration. You can be a part of our Grad Student Projectionist program, and in exchange for helping out with the on-site logistics of the course, your registration fee is waived!! You still receive all the included course materials just like any full-paying attendee, and you’d be doing AAPG a big favor by helping make sure the course runs smoothly!! There is one slot per short course available, and this program applies to short courses only, NOT field seminars. Special program for College Professors: Do you know about AAPG’s Professorial Grant Program? This allows you to take an AAPG course at one-fourth the normal tuition rate!!
